We once were really close, mainly because our mothers are twins. I had no falling out with her or anything, we just sort of lost touch for a while. But talking with her again made me reflect on my family members who I have had a falling out with; who I am estranged from and desire no real reconciliation with. It’s hard sometimes. It’s sad sometimes. But mostly it’s…a feeling of relief, and letting go of a lot of anger, pain and baggage. I don’t have to be sucked into horrible dysfunction just because I am related to someone.

Well I had more to say about this but I am crying now. May post more later.
