Today I made a flower pot out of another old plastic container. Punched holes in the bottom with a knife, then filled it with my new fern. Fitting end to February Thing-A-Day and welcome to Spring!
Today I made another curtain for my bathroom, this time for the other window. It started out as a skirt LOL.
Today I made a head wrap tube thingy for my dreads. It came out ok. It ties in the back. I think the next one will be a little longer, cover more of my locks. dreadmama.net

Today I made a new scarf.. Spring is less than a month away but really, here in northeast Ohio spring is more like 2 months away. So the scarf is much needed and handy. I LOVE the fabric, it’s so soft and fluffy!
Today I made some lotion. Had a hard time with the final mix, I think I used too much olive oil. eh, it’s winter still, can’t have too much olive oil!

Today I made pencil fuzzies, I love having a bit of soft fabric on my pencils when working on calculus problems. somehow makes it easier ^_^
Today I made a hand muff. One of my sons took over the blue mittens I made, so I made sure to use a girly color for this!! ha ha
Today I made a new bag from several different clothing items I upcycled. The green bottom of the bag is a handmade hat I got a few years ago, I wore it for a couple of winters but needed a change this winter. The two upper parts of the bag are from 2 different pairs [...]

Today I made a love book for my husband. I got a little book to put love notes in and stuff for Brian for Valentine’s Day, and put a fluffy heart on the cover. brianandtrula.com
Today I made a sack to put my sewing scraps in out of an old pillow case.
One of my cashmere sweaters was getting raggedy at the sleeve elbows, to the point where patching it up would be noticeable. Normally I wouldn’t care but I decided to cut up the sweater and use the fabric for various things including a pair of cashmere socks. I’ve been wanting a pair for a while!
Today I made another pair of earrings. I wanted them to look like tiny earmuffs. I used the same material that I used for my mittens.
Today I made another seed packet, this time for my corn seeds. Thinking about selling seeds on earthystyle.com and my etsy as I have an abundance of seeds. I can’t possibly plant them all this year. trula.org
Today I made a seed packet for my bell pepper seeds out of newspaper and tape. The seeds are very dry; I set this husk aside a couple of months ago.
I made another pair of earrings and I like these so much better than the 1st set I made on the 3rd. These were a pair of silver mermaid earrings I liked…added red buttons to them to make them pop. Learned my lesson about using too much glue so just used a smidgen this time. [...]
Today I made a skirt out the bottom of a denim sundress that was too short, and the top of a pair of fleece pants.
Today I made earrings. I had some sterling silver post earrings I never wore, so added buttons to them then put a little denim on top of the buttons. I think I used too much Gorilla glue, will have to watch it next time. Still, I like them!
Today I made mittens. I had some leftover fabric from when I made the kids; quilts this past Christmas and decided to use it for my mittens. This fabric is so soft and fluffy and warm. I put the fluffy side on the inside. The cuffs I reconstructed from an old jacket my sons used [...]
I’m doing <a href=”http://thing-a-day.com/”>Thing-A-Day 2010</a>. Today I made a new logo for my biz. or rather an updated one, I’m still using the hand-drawn flower motif but in shades of blue now instead of different colors. Will tweak in a bit.
