			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Crabbing to myself earlier about all the time I spend preparing&#8230;preparing for work, preparing to write, preparing to get my bookstore ready, and the endless preparation that is motherhood: the cooking, the cleaning, the listening, the helping them prepare for life in this world. I have been trying to &#8216;live in the moment&#8217; but I&#8217;ve been struggling with this&#8230;so much of me is focused on *what comes next*</p>
<p>next year<br />next month<br />next week<br />tomorrow</p>
<p>It occurred to me that the stage of my life&#8217;s play is happening in each moment. The practice, the rehearsal, the building of the set is all part of the play. Right now, I am on stage. </p>
