Name Change Finalized

It’s done! It’s official. I had the final hearing on my name change this past week. I had to give a little speech on why I wanted to change it, including the significance of each name. I changed my middle name and my last name. It was kind of annoying because the magistrate was all, how do your husband and kids feel about it. WTF it’s 2010! but anyway my husband feels fine about it. He indulges my eccentricities LOL. My new name is Trula Ione Earthgarden :)

  1. Wow! Can’t believe I’m just seeing this.

So how do you pronounce the middle name? What does it mean? What was the former middle name? What was the rationale behind the name change?

  2. sorry for the late reply Nappy Kitchen! rationale was that I wanted to change my name, and the middle name is pronounced eye-oh-nee. From the Greek ιον (ion) meaning “violet flower”. It has been used as a given name in the English-speaking world since the 19th century. My birth middle name, well that’s neither here nor there LOL.
