How to figure out where all the people like me are hiding

“I learned to recognize the qualities I admire in myself in others.”

How I did it: I figure out where all the people like me are hiding…they are hiding in plain sight doing the things I like to do! So I did it by going places that involve the things I am interested in doing. Also by making an effort to meet and get to know new people. This really challenged me to go outside my comfort zone because I am an introvert and thus naturally reticent. I am also somewhat shy, but this is helping me to get over that.Overall, I learned to recognize the qualities I admire in myself in others and to reach out to people I felt a ‘kindred spirit’ connection with.

It took me 9 months.

It made me happy
