I need to start selling to mainstream magazines. This is a market I keep meaning to tap, but haven’t out of sheer laziness LOL. No, more like resistance to forcing myself to write a certain way, go through all the pitching and what-not. But some mags pay $1,000 an article (or more!), so seriously I’m gonna crack this nut this year. Some not-so mainstream mags pay ok too, I sold a few pieces to some now-defunct lit alt-type mags for $2-500 dollars and had some contract writing work a while back that paid really well. This is another stream of income I could sorely use, let me get on this.
